Am I suitable if I have lost a lot of bone?
Many patients who have been refused elsewhere, or told they lack sufficient bone, are still excellent candidates for full arch implants. The technique is specifically designed for patients with significant bone loss. We will assess this thoroughly at consultation.
Is the procedure painful?
The surgery is carried out under local anaesthetic - most patients are surprised by how comfortable it is. There is some soreness in the days following, which is managed easily with standard pain relief. The vast majority of our patients describe the experience as far less daunting than they expected.
How long do full arch implants last?
With proper care and maintenance, full arch implants are designed to last a lifetime. The accuracy of surgical planning plays a significant role in long-term outcomes - which is why the quality of the digital workflow matters as much as the surgery itself.
I was refused by another practice. Can you still help?
Quite possibly, yes. We see patients regularly who have been told they are not candidates elsewhere. Dr Aly Virani's experience with complex cases - including those involving significant bone loss or previous failed treatment - means we are often able to offer solutions that others cannot.
Can I spread the cost?
We don't offer third-party finance, but the way we structure payments means the cost is naturally spread across your treatment journey. We're happy to walk you through exactly what this looks like for your chosen treatment at consultation.
How does this compare to having treatment abroad?
Treatment abroad can appear cheaper upfront. However, full arch implant surgery requires follow-up, adjustment, and sometimes remedial work - all of which must be managed locally if something goes wrong. We see patients regularly who have had problems with overseas treatment. Having your surgeon accessible, accountable, and present for your aftercare is not a minor consideration for a permanent procedure.
